It’s time next week for the sound of music and fun beckoning you to The Brickyard and to the June Final Friday Concert.

For the eleventh consecutive year, the last Friday of each month, May through September, brings music, food, and more to downtown Mansfield. From the initial offerings in 2007 that saw a few dozen attendees, the Downtown Mansfield, Inc. hosted Final Friday concerts have grown to attract thousands of music lovers. Some locally-based 15 performers will take the stage at The Brickyard in the Carrousel District this summer.

As always, the music is free, and refreshments will be available for purchase. This year, each initial act will begin at 5:30 PM.

The June 29 show will include performances by Charles Geil, Acoustic Edge, and Jimmy Warner Band! Concerts are free and open to the public; lawn chairs are encouraged, and refreshments will be available for purchase from the following Brickyard vendors, Beth’s Hot Dogs, Chaos Cafe, Deja Food, Ms. Lil’s, Panchos Tacos and Slab Daddy’s.

The Final Friday Concert Series is held at the Richland Source Pavilion in The Brickyard and is possible with generous contributions from Dearman Moving & Storage, KeyBank, Lori Holden Sjostedt, Haring Realty, Ohio Eye Associates, OhioHealth, Phoenix Brewing Company, Next Generation Films, Staffing Partners and The Clean Company.
