Just Walk Richland walk leaders will lead a series of walks along the B&O trail. Walks will start at various locations each week, and as an end result, “connect the trail”. Participants are encouraged to pick up litter (trashercise) and help beautify the trail in the process.

These walks are scheduled to run every Monday from today through May 15, starting at 5:30 PM.

Leaders and participants will beautify the trail, enjoy one another’s company, and get in some miles! And some squats! Come as often as you can, walk as far or as long as you can. Bring your family (kids, too), and friends.

Walks are round trip from the designated parking area for each date. We will be packing the trash out with us to place in the parking area trash receptacle. Efforts to separate recyclables are appreciated.

Please plan to bring own trash bags (used shopping bags work great) and gloves. Waterproof gloves would be helpful as well as boots (if you have them) for getting off the trail.

These walks are held in partnership with Richland Public Health’s Just Walk Richland program and the Richland County Park District.
