Mansfield City Schools are ready for another year of learning and fun. Students at Mansfield Senior High School and Mansfield Middle School will pick up their 2018-2019 schedules next week. Meanwhile, all schools have set open house dates and times.

Senior High and middle school students may pick up their schedules on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, August 14, 12 to 7 PM.
  • Wednesday, August 15, 12 to 7 PM.
  • Thursday, August 16, 8 a.m. to 3 PM.

Students are asked to bring at least three emergency contact telephone numbers, medical insurance information and doctor’s orders to administer prescription medication during school hours.

Superintendent Brian Garverick said the district is prepared for the opening of school on Thursday, AugUST 23. “We are excited to begin what we believe will be a very successful year throughout Mansfield City Schools,” Garverick said. “Our principals have scheduled orientations and open houses as listed below. I urge all parents, grandparents and others to visit our schools to help students start the year on a positive note.”

The orientation and open house schedule includes:

  • Malabar Intermediate grade 4 orientation – Thursday, August. 16, 5:30-7 PM.
  • Malabar grades 5 and 6 open house – Tuesday, August 21, 5:30-7 PM.
  • Spanish Immersion K-8 open house – Tuesday, August 21, 5:30-7 PM.
  • Springmill STEM Elementary pre-K open house – Tuesday, August 21, 6-7:30 PM.
  • Springmill STEM Elementary K-2 open house – Tuesday, August 21, 6-7:30 PM.
  • Prospect Elementary open house – Wednesday, August 22, 5-6:30 PM.
  • Woodland Elementary open house – Wednesday, August 22, 5-6:30 PM.
  • Sherman Elementary K-1 open house – Monday, August 27, 5:30-7 PM.
  • Sherman Elementary 2-3 open house – Wednesday, August 29, 5:30-7 PM.
  • Mansfield Middle School open house – Thursday, September 6, 6-7:30 PM.
  • Mansfield Senior High open house – Thursday, September 6, 6-7:30 PM.
