Ohio State plans to hold a virtual commencement for spring 2020 graduates


Ohio State University on Friday evening announced plans for a “virtual commencement” for spring 2020 graduates on May 3, the originally scheduled date for the in-person ceremony that was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.Apple CEO Tim Cook will deliver the commencement address at the event, which will be livestreamed at noon from Ohio Stadium.About 12,000 diplomas will be awarded, which will be sent to graduates through the mail, OSU President Michael V.
