It might not be the first combination which comes to mind – the holiday season, a prison, and ghosts.

That’s just what is happening later this month when the historic Ohio State Reformatory will be open for Holiday Tours.

Tours will be available starting on Friday, November 23, and will take place each Thursday through Sunday through Sunday, December 23. Visitors can explore the halls and cells of the Reformatory from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Tickets will be $12 per person.

Guests are encouraged for dress warmly as parts of the building are not heated.

Remember as well that an evening “Ghost Walk” will take place on November 30. Join your hosts for a ghost walk through the dark halls and corridors of the historic Ohio State Reformatory. You will be taken on a 2 hour guided tour to hot-spots where reports have been made about paranormal activity. Hear about what people have experienced and the stories of murder and death that cause many to believe the prison is haunted.

Two Ghosts Walks will be offered that evening. More information is available here.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
