Auditions for the 10th murder mystery dinner theater at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield will be held this Sunday, January 6 and Monday, January 7, both starting at 6 PM.

Auditions will include cold readings from the script. This is a partially scripted show with heavy interaction and improv with the audience. Special skills such as juggling and other “circus” or “side show” skills and talents are encouraged.

The show opens March 1 and runs two weekends. Currently there are two performances scheduled each weekend , with possible shows to include Sunday.

Anyone interested in being involved in the technical aspects should feel welcome to get contact through the group event on Facebook or at: 419.496.1257 (call or text welcome). OSR is also looking for “techies” to assist with the show.

And as a reminder, the historic Ohio State Reformatory’s Winter Tours continue. On Thursdays through Sundays, you can explore the halls and cells of the Reformatory. OSR is open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and tickets are $12 per person. Make sure to dress warmly, as parts of the building are not heated.
