Are any former Buckeye millennials in your family made their way back to their home state?

If so, you certainly are not alone according to an article published this past weekend on CNBC.

In an article written by Daniel Bukszpan entitled “Why millennials are flocking to Rust Belt real estate,” the writer looks at the growing trend of millennials – those Americans born roughly between the mid-1980s and the late 1990s – choosing the Midwest as real estate prices provide a stark contrast to those in other areas of the country.

Mansfield is specifically referenced.

The local piece includes a quote from Peter Haring of Haring Realty, Paul Boomsma of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, both of whom have Mansfield listings, and also a photo of a West Fourth Street property that recently made waves on cheapoldhouses.com. Our story last month on that West Fourth Street house can be accessed here. That story also drew strong local interest on social media.

The CNBC article is certainly worth reading. You can do so here.
