According to a Facebook Event post, the 15 Mansfielders involved in a trip to a conference in Austin, Texas will be hosting a public forum next week.

The visit to South by Southwest Interactive (often referred to as SXSW) was being funded by a grant from the Richland County Foundation (Richland Source story here).

The #SXSW419 group will host a public forum at the Renaissance Theatre Thursday, May 31 from 6 to 8 PM.

The group of 15 participants will give an overview of what they learned during the South by Southwest Conference held in Austin, TX, in March, give an update on the planning process and invite the public to ask questions.

The group has been tasked with creating a plan to spark and continue the revitalization in Mansfield’s Central Business District.

Through this year the core team will work with 28 advisers to sort through the ideas and create action plans to be implemented.
