The Renaissance Theatre will highlight a talented group of local performers in the upcoming production of Ain’t Misbehavin’a musical revue presented as a part of the Richland Bank Broadway Series on April 12-14 at 8 PM and April 15 at 2:30 PM.

Under the direction of Michael Thomas with music direction by Brian Nabors, the cast features local performers Ursula Butts, Kristal Lawrence, Jodie Odom, Deon Taylor, and Condrea Webber singing songs of the golden age of swing music.

Winner of the 1978 Tony Award for Best Musical, Ain’t Misbehavin’ is a revue of the music of Thomas “Fats” Waller, who rose to international fame during the Golden Age of the Cotton Club and swing music. Although not quite a biography, Ain’t Misbehavin’ evokes the delightful humor and infectious energy of this American original as a versatile cast struts, strums and sings the songs that he made famous in a career that ranged from uptown clubs to downtown Tin Pan Alley to Hollywood and concert stages in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Tickets are $30 and on sale now at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at 419-522-2726, and online at MansfieldTickets.com. This show is presented stage on stage, so seating is limited. Ain’t Misbehavin’ is sponsored by Shaw Ott Medical.
