The City of Mansfield is in the process of developing a new Consolidated Plan as well as First-Year Action Plan for the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Funds (HOME) through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Consolidated Plan will cover the 2019-2023 period and will identify the City’s priorities for allocating these federal grant funds for the next five years. Preparation of the Plan is guided by the regulations and requirements contained in the Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR Part 91.

The city would like you to provide your perception of critical needs in the community as well as in your neighborhood. In addition, they would like to gain an understanding of area agencies, businesses, investors, and organizations and their supportive roles in the community.

To that end, a public meeting will be held on January 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at NECIC, 134 N. Main Street, Mansfield

A presentation about the program and applications for CDBG and HOME funds will also be available at the meeting. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Questions should be directed to Tracy Bond, Community Development and Housing Coordinator, 419-755-9795 or [email protected]
