The final regular meeting of Mansfield City Council for 2018 on Tuesday will see the body consider a number of important year-end matters.

In addition to routine end-of-the-year matters, included in the items to be considered is a measure related to the State of Ohio’s planned resurfacing of US30 from the Fourth Street intersection to the SR 309 intersection. Work is planned to begin in the late summer and fall of 2019 and end in 2020.

Among other items, the agenda includes the following:

  • A measure adopting temporary annual appropriations for the operations of City government in 2019.
  • Second reading of an ordinance amending a section of the City’s income tax ordinance to be in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code as it appears to taxation of S corporation profits.
  • An ordinance authorizing payment of $58.74 for damages “allegedly caused by am unrepaired pothole.”
  • Ordinances pertaining to accounting matters in the Finance Director’s office.
  • An ordinance authorizing acceptance of $2,185 from Public Entity Risk Services of Ohio, Inc. for a stolen stop sign.
  • An ordinance authorizing application for a $10,788 grant from the Richland County Regional Solid Waste Management Authority for recycling and litter prevention.
  • An ordinance amending the Personnel Ordinance to change a pay grade for the Utility Maintenance Dispatcher.
  • An ordinance authorizing purchase of a piece of real property for public infrastructure improvements.
  • Several ordinances declaring the City’s intention to appropriate a “flowage easements” related to the City’s flood mitigation infrastructure project.
  • Other personnel, financial, and real property-related ordinances.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in Council Chambers.
