Great news this week for local book lovers.

For the first time since early December, all branches of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library are again open for in-person browsing.

The Library began modifying hours and services back on March 16 with the closure of all locations. Since that time, the availability of services has been governed by State of Ohio health directives and a desire to maintain the health and safety of patrons and staff.

While now open, there are reduced hours, and while curbside service will remain available, all in-person programming is still on hold.

Temporary hours at all locations are as follows:

  • Monday through Thursday — 10 AM to 6 PM
  • Friday — 10 AM to 5 PM
  • Saturday — 10 AM to 2 PM
  • First Call 211 Lobby — Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM
