The Shelby City Health Department has announced that COVID-19 vaccinations will begin this Thursday, January 14, for individuals identified in Phase IA of the State of Ohio rollout plan.

At present, that includes the following:

  • Healthcare workers
  • Podiatrists
  • Dentists
  • EMS responders
  • Home healthcare workers
  • Personnel who are routinely involved in the care of COVID-19 patients
  • Workers who care for vulnerable individuals who live in close proximity/congregate care settings, such as residents and staff of nursing homes and assisted living facilities

Please note that at present there is a limited supply of vaccine available, however that amount is scheduled to increase over the coming day and weeks.

Additional clinics will be announced as doses are available. The community will be updated when appointments are available for individuals identified in Phase 1B and beyond.
