OhioHealth Mansfield Home Care (Home Health and Hospice) has relocated to Lexington in a move that will improve comfort for associates and enhance the comprehensive care services available to patients at home.

The renovated space is located at 50 Industrial Drive in Lexington and expands OhioHealth’s presence in the area, reinforcing the system’s commitment to serving Lexington and nearby communities.

In addition to dedicated offices for operations, the facility features a reception area, two conference rooms equipped with web conferencing technology, a work room for volunteers and an area for field associates who drop in throughout the day.

In preparation for the move, the existing facility received minor cosmetic updates like flooring, paint and upgraded furniture. Associates will also have access to dedicated parking spaces, eliminating a challenge faced at the previous location, 1020 Cricket Lane in Mansfield.

“This move will dramatically improve the physical working environment for our Home Care associates and volunteers,” said Tina Null, director of OhioHealth Hospice. “Our team will be well-equipped to provide top-notch compassionate care services to patients living in Richland County and surrounding areas.”

A “Move Team” of 12 Home Care associates met regularly to plan for the move; they coordinated details like interior design decisions, seating arrangements and planned for the facility’s opening celebration.

Earlier this spring, OhioHealth announced additional plans to expand in Lexington with the addition of a 10,000-square-foot, $5 million medical office building on State Route 42 near Lakewood Road, which will house the OhioHealth Physician Group Primary Care practice.
