The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing to place a new full functioning maintenance facility within the City of Ontario.

The facility will be located on Beer Rd off of State Route 309. The facility will be the central location for ODOT forces within Richland County. The facility will provide various maintenance activities including but not limited to: ditching, tree removal, culvert replacements, and snow and ice removal.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2022.
