A sleep-out to raise funds for Harmony House Homeless Services, Inc. is planned for Friday, Nov. 4, at the Walmart in Ontario.

The annual event is sponsored by Mansfield City Schools’ S.A.F.E. (Student Achievement through Family Engagement) and the Mansfield Senior High Key Club. The 24-hour sleep-out will begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 4. The public is invited to join S.A.F.E. and Key Club members from 6 p.m. to midnight.

All donations will benefit Harmony House Homeless Services, which provides emergency shelter for more than 500 homeless men, women and children in Mansfield each year. In addition to shelter, Harmony House provides other assistance, including food and clothing, transportation, after-school and summer programs for children and rent assistance.

For more information about the S.A.F.E. program, contact co-coordinators Louise Yochheim at [email protected] or Phil Mitchell at [email protected].
