Little Buckeye Children’s Museum is excited to announce the grand-opening of their new Studio 19 Beauty Salon Exhibit. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 11:00 AM at Little Buckeye Children’s Museum in downtown Mansfield. The public is welcome to attend for a first look at this fun exhibit remodel.

The Studio 19 Beauty Salon Exhibit consists of a vanity area for hair and make-up, complete with a real salon chair and mannequin heads, and a receptionist’s desk for booking appointments. Everything is custom built to look just like the real Studio 19 down the street, but at the perfect height for a child and completely ADA accessible! The display will also include plenty of pretend hair styling tools and products and pretend make-up supplies, so kids can give complete make-overs to the lucky grown-ups who brought them!

Getting a haircut can be a scary experience for youngsters. In addition to all of the child development benefits that children will receive by playing in our hands-on, imagination-based exhibits, Little Buckeye hopes that children can learn to become a little more comfortable with the idea of getting a haircut by visiting this exhibit.

Little Buckeye Children’s Museum is proud to provide children and families with the power of play every day. With over 30 interactive exhibits, Little Buckeye Children’s Museum invites children to use their imagination to create fun and unique experiences every time they come to the museum.
