This Thursday evening, there will be a concert at The Brickyard.

Not your typical fare, mind you. Rather, the Mansfield City Schools Choir Department will present the Middle School and Senior High Spring Concert under the stars in the heart of downtown Mansfield.

A Breath of Fresh Air” will take place at 6:00 PM. It will be free and open to the public; attendees are asked to bring your own chair. Food trucks will be on hand.

The concert will feature the Mansfield Middle School Combined Chorus and Mansfield Senior’s Women’s Choir, Symphonic Choir, and Chamber Choir. There is plenty of room to socially distance, of course, and the audience is asked to “mask up” to keep students and the community safe.

The rained-out venue will be the Senior High Auditorium. If that space is used, each student will be allowed to have five people attend.

The Director of Choirs for Mansfield Schools is Matt Keasal.
