We all know what bubbles are, but have you ever tried to describe one?

Wikipedia puts it this way: “A soap bubbles is an extremely thin film of soapy water enclosing air that forms a hollow sphere with an iridescent surface. Soap bubbles usually last for only a few second before bursting, either on their own or on contact with other object.

The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library invites you to explore the world of bubbles this month. Not only will participants be blowing bubbles and learning about different kinds of bubbles, but they will also learn a little about what makes a bubble a bubble.

The fun will be held at two MRCPL Branches:

  • Plymouth Branch on Tuesday, September 22 from 5 PM to 6 PM.
  • Madison Branch on Tuesday, September 29 from 5 PM to 6 PM.

Registration is required, and can be done here for Plymouth, and here for Madison.

Just for fun, here is video of man creating what is allegedly the world record largest soap bubble, measuring an amazing 834 cubic feet in size.
