The United States Air Force Band of Flight’s “Spirit of Freedom” will perform a free concert at the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio on March 28 at 7 PM. While there is no cost to attend, tickets are required and available by calling or visiting the Renaissance Box Office or online at MansfieldTickets.com.

The USAF Band of Flight’s “Spirit of Freedom”, formerly known as Wright Brass, is a versatile and energetic brass quintet with an added percussionist. The members are all active duty musicians in the United States Air Force, stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

“Mansfield is home to an Air National Guard base, and as representatives of the U.S. Air Force, we would love to come and give back to a community that gives so much to our military,” shares Justis MacKenzie, SrA, Tuba/Music Arranger for the USAF Band of Flight.

In addition to performing military ceremonies on and off base, the ensemble entertains public audiences throughout the state of Ohio. Spirit of Freedom is proud to represent those serving with the highest levels of professionalism and valor throughout our United States Air Force.

Spirit of Freedom has previously performed in some of the most recognizable venues, universities, and conservatories in Ohio. With an instrumentation of two trumpets, horn, trombone, tuba, and drums, we present a program of exciting American music, celebrating military partnerships with the community, honoring those who have served our country, inspiring patriotism and service, and connecting the public at large with their military.
