Plymouth High School’s spring sports teams are bringing Gabriella Kreuz, possibly best known to us as the Cleveland Indian’s in-game host, to speak on the topic of relationships and abuse. It’s an important topic for teenagers, to teach them about healthy and acceptable behavior as they begin to navigate more mature relationships on their way to adulthood.

The public is also welcome to attend the event, which is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Plymouth High School on March 16. There is no cost to do so.

Kreuz, in addition to her broadcast and commercial work, is the founder of Love Doesn’t Shove, an organization whose mission is to educate the community about the dynamics of healthy relationships as a means to end teen dating violence and promote a safer, happier society. Kreuz travels around Ohio speaking on this topic, using her own past experiences to relate the information and to make connections with her audience. But she doesn’t just want attendees to listen to her story; the ultimate goal is to create a space for the audience to participate in the conversation and thereby effect real change.

To learn more about Love Doesn’t Shove, visit LoveDoesntShove.org . The organization accepts donations to assist in them in the cost of traveling to schools to speak. Thanks to donations, schools lacking the budget for a Love Doesn’t Shove event are still able to be involved.
