The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library (MRCPL) system has been utilizing the second floor lobby of the Main Library in downtown Mansfield to provide music concerts for several years. These concerts are free and open to the public, and are just another way that the MRCPL brings value to our community.

In December and January the following artists will be performing on Sundays at 2:00 PM:

  • December 8: Trista Hill, harpist, playing beautiful Christmas music. Ms. Hill will also perform at the Lexington branch’s open house on December 2, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
  • January 12: The Slapdash Quartet, central Ohio’s jazz band. Tony Kertis and his rousing bunch of fellows will perform dance music from the Great American Songbook.
  • January 26: Sugar Mountain, Cleveland’s premier Neil Young tribute band, will entertain with covers of rock greats such as Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Lynyrd Skynyrd, and (of course) Neil Young.
