In late November, the Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe will once again open in downtown Mansfield. The shop is a place where adults assist children in all aspects of gift-purchasing for the holiday season, including selecting gifts, budgeting, and wrapping gifts. Prices are intentionally kept low so that kids can have an array of budget-friendly gifts to choose from.

To make this program successful, the Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe needs you. Downtown Mansfield, Inc. (DMI) is seeking volunteers to assist children with their shopping experience. Individuals are welcome to sign up, as are groups such as coworkers who want to volunteer together, school groups, clubs, etc. As a volunteer, you may help children pick out gifts for family and friends, and/or handle gift wrapping and tagging. This year, the Tiny Tim Shoppe will be located at the DMI office, 128 North Main Street.

The Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the following Saturdays:

  • November 23
  • November 30
  • December 7
  • December 14
  • December 21

Volunteers can sign up for a three-hour time segment or for the entire day. Additionally, the Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe will be open from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 6 for Christmas Time in the City.

To volunteer at the Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe, head to DMI’s website and click the “sign up here” link: https://www.shopdineexploreandmore.com/tinytimshoppe.
