Summer Under The Stars In Mansfield’s New Inflatable Planetarium

The stars come alive under Richland County skies during “The Night Sky,” a monthly astronomy program hosted by the Richland County Park District at Gorman Nature Center in Mansfield. This month will see the initial use of an exciting new addition to this program. Purchased with proceeds from a donation received by the Park District from the Hire Foundation in Lexington, an inflatable and portable planetarium will mean that weather cancellations are a thing of the past. Park District Seeking Volunteers, Bringing Up Discoverers Participants

They are currently in need of individuals to help with: maintaining the B&O bike trail, school programs, greeting visitors at Gorman Nature Center, outdoor maintenance at GNC, and more.
