Great Food, Great Auction, Great Fun!

The Savor & Sip Auction and Food Tasting, hosted by Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development, is coming to the Mid-Ohio Conference Center on Tuesday, October 25.

There’s still time to become a part of this fundraising activity for the Chamber. Its a night of live entertainment, great food, and auction items.

Entry for attendees is $20.00 per person ($30 after October 11) and this entitles them to one sample from each vendor and the chance to bid on many wonderful auction items.

This event is open to Chamber members and the general public, so feel free to invite co-workers, family, and friends.

Next Weekend Is Augustfest

Tickets are now on sale for the 2nd Annual St. Peter’s Augustfest, a night of fellowship, live music, and games for adults 21+. The event is set for Saturday, August 6, from 4 – 9 PM at Spartan Fields.

New this year to Augustfest is a $2,500 grand prize golf ball drop, a BBQ chicken and pulled pork dinner, and live music. This year’s entertainment includes performances from EKG (Eggerton-Kastran Group), Low E Band, and Tom’s Kitchen Table.

“We’re looking forward to building on the success of last year’s event. Our goal is to provide the community with an affordable night of entertainment and fun,” said committee chairperson Justin Berry. “This event is open to all in our community. We’ve packed a lot of fun into a $20 ticket.”

Renaissance Begins Ghost Light Campaign

The Renaissance Performing Arts Association is beginning a fundraising campaign called “Ghost Light.” Currently, the organization has lost revenue approaching $425,000 due to the restrictions placed upon arts organizations during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is theatrical tradition to have a ghost light – a single bulb on center stage enabling one to navigate the theatre to avoid trips and falls over set pieces. At the Renaissance, the ghost light also serves as a beacon for those charged with bringing the stage to life, and to welcome the next group of patrons to relish the emotional experiences that only live performances provide. Pull-Up Event to Honor Former Mansfield Police Officer

The third annual Reps For Ryan event to honor Ryan Garner, a former Mansfield police officer who passed away in May 2018 after being diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, will include a pull-up marathon in Ryan Garner’s name.
