Special to 1812Blockhouse

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. (DMI) will hold the 2021 Secret City Tour on Saturday, May 1 from 10:00  AM to 4 PM. Take a peek into some of Mansfield’s most exquisite historic buildings and architectural gems on this self-guided tour. With continued interest in downtown development, this tour offers a unique look to the past while challenging us to reimagine the future of these great spaces.

Buildings on the 2021 Secret City Tour will include: 33 North Main Street, 135 North Main Street, 117 North Diamond Street, 137 North Main Street, 116 North Main Street (second floor), 118 North Main Street (second floor), 135 North Franklin Street, 25 East Fourth Street (second floor), and 67 North Main Street (second floor).

“The Secret City Tour is one of our most loved events.” Jennifer Kime, DMI CEO, stated. “Whether people are looking for a location to locate their own business, just take photos or for the sake of pure curiosity, the tour is always a great opportunity to see unique, often unseen spaces in downtown. We are excited we are able to bring it back this year and are limiting the number of tickets sold to comply with social distancing.”

Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased online through Eventbrite – https://www.eventbrite.com/e/secret-city-tour-2021-tickets-149603198193?utm-medium=discovery&utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&aff=escb&utm-source=cp&utm-term=listing – or on event day at the DMI HQ at 128 North Main Street.

This is a self-guided tour and photography is welcome. Many of the buildings are currently undeveloped, participants should dress accordingly and be prepared to walk.
