Tyger football standout Jornell Manns, the Ohio Cardinal Conference Offensive Player of the Year, leads a number of Mansfield Senior High fall sports athletes who have earned OCC and district post-season honors.

Manns led the Tygers to an 8-3 record and a share of the conference title, scoring 37 touchdowns while accumulating nearly 2,000 yards of total offense. He has committed to the University of Minnesota.

Athletic Director Jen Lepard released the list of all post-season honors.

Other Tygers who received OCC football honors include:

  • First team – Terrance Flickinger, Angelo Grose, Alamar Grose, Montrell Caldwell, Anthonly Hawkins and Christian Haney.
  • Second team – Sid Caudill, Benny Miller, Ty’lheir Grose, Jamarious Loyd, Norian Lindsey and Tre’suan Windham.
  • Honorable mention – Clay Caudill, Tyrese Long and Armon Huguely.

Other Senior High fall sports honors include:

  • Golf – Tanner Harless, OCC second team.
  • Volleyball – Don’Jeon Reese and Clarisseanna Mercer, OCC honorable mention.
  • Girls soccer – Maranda Cline, first team OCC; Addyson VanHouten, second team OCC; Hailey Jacobs and Maddie Wade, OCC honorable mention. District – Cline and VanHouten, second team; Jacobs and Wade, honorable mention.
  • Boys soccer – Shandon Kiah, first team OCC; Catarino Pacheco, second team OCC; Zach Riley and Noah Henley, honorable mention OCC. District – Kiah, first team; Riley and Pacheco, honorable mention.
