Shelby City Schools is opening the portal for Kindergaren Registration for the 2023-2024 school year later this month.

In communication sent out from Paul Walker, Assistant Superintendent, it was noted that registration will be held from February to March 3. Eligible children for registration are those will be five years old on or before August 1.

Shelby Schools use an online enrollment system called Final Forms. To access, visit the District website and click on “FinalForms.” Alternatively, you can visit the Board of Education office in person. Once completed, you will still need to submit paper documents including a birth certificate, immunization records, the parent(s)’ drivers license(s), custody papers (if applicable), and proof of residency.

Then, in late May, Kindergarten Screening will take place.

Recent changes to Ohio law now require Kindergarten attendance or an approved alternative before First Grade enrollment can occur.
