At its Wednesday regular monthly meeting, the Madison Local Schools Board of Education has a relatively short list of items to consider. In addition to a handful of standard reports to consider and personnel items to act upon, Superintendent Lee Kaple has five recommendations for Board action.

Those proposals include the following:

  1. Annual membership with the Ohio School Boards Association for January 2017– December 2017.
  2. Adopting a resolution to submit to the electors of the Madison School District the question of levying the renewal of a tax for current expenses pursuant to section 5705.21 Revised Code of Ohio.
  3. Approving revision of policy 5460.01.
  4. Accepting the donation to the Madison Auto Tech program of a 2003 Buick Lesabre Limited valued at approximately 3,000 from Richard Stout of Mansfield, OH.
