As you can undoubtedly tell, we are undertaking some “under the hood” updates here at 1812Blockhouse. The result will be a new look, a smoother flowing (and quicker) site, new features, and more.

We considered going offline for a few days while this transition takes place, but instead we decided to allow our readers to take this journey with us.

1812Blockhouse has now been a part of the Richland County scene for six and one-half years. Today, we have a strong readership on the site, via social media, and through RIchland Roast, our daily enewsletter. We have also established great working relationships with newsmakers in Mansfield and around the county.

As we go along, please feel free to drop us a line at:[email protected] with comments, suggestions, and news tips.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
