Richland County Public Health and Avita Health System have joined forces to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) in Richland County. The initiative aims to identify and assess the health needs of the community by inviting residents and those who work in the county to participate in a 15-minute survey.

The survey is designed to be comprehensive, covering various aspects of health, from chronic diseases to mental health and preventive care.

The Importance of Anonymity and Voluntary Participation

One of the standout features of this CHNA is its emphasis on anonymity. Participants can rest assured that their responses will be kept confidential, and their names will not be accessed. The survey is entirely voluntary, and participants are free to leave questions unanswered. This approach aims to encourage honest and open feedback, which is crucial for developing effective health programs and services.

What Will the Data Be Used For?

The data collected from the survey will serve as the foundation for Richland County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). This plan will guide the county in implementing services and programs that directly benefit the community. From addressing mental health issues to tackling chronic diseases, the CHIP will be a roadmap for enhancing the overall well-being of Richland County residents.

How Can You Participate?

Residents and workers in Richland County can participate by visiting the official survey page. The survey includes questions about demographics, health conditions, and community concerns, among other topics. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the future health landscape of Richland County.

By participating in this survey, you’re not just answering questions; you’re contributing to a healthier future for your community. So, if you live or work in Richland County, take 15 minutes to make a lasting impact. Your voice matters.
