On Thursday, June 29 at 6:00 a.m., Trimble Road will be opened to local traffic. Motorists are urged to use caution when travelling through the corridor, as construction is ongoing.

As initially proposed by the City of Mansfield, the purpose of this project is four-fold:

  • Provide safer intersections at Cook Road and Marion Avenue
  • Increase capacity and facilitate ongoing economic development
  • Provide congestion relief
  • Promote active transportation via a newly installed multi-use path

Weather permitting, the project is scheduled to be completed by September 17, 2017
