Downtown Mansfield, Inc. is hosting its annual Christmas Time in the City celebration this Friday, December 2.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6:00 PM. Additionally, Richland Carrousel Park will have a live llama on the lawn, carriage rides, cookie decorating courtesy of Buckeye Bakery, and photos with Santa. The Tiny Tim Christmas Shoppe will be open from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the DMI office located at 128 North Main Street.

Christmas Time in the City will also feature:

  • City News will provide a live performance by Jeff Boyd.
  • Root’s Salon is hosting a fashion show beginning at 6:30 p.m.
  • Buckeye Imagination Museum is hosting their annual Christmas party. From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., children can enjoy playtime and a holiday-themed games and a craft from 5:00-7:00p.m. On the way out, children will receive a cookie and a small gift!
  • Salon Vivace is hosting their annual Jingle & Mingle. From 6:00-9:00 p.m., enjoy giveaways, discounts, specialty drinks, hor d’ oeuvres and more!
  • Tara’s Floral will be demonstrating bow making from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Also 3RD Cup Tea, Axe Social Lounge, 419 Barbershop, Element of the Art, and Bloom Boutique are among some of the other businesses staying open later in celebration of the holiday festivities!
