Even a casual glance at the weather map this week can cause a sudden case of pre-Christmas jitters.
The National Weather Service has ratified that concern, sharing a Hazardous Weather Outlook late Monday that suggests not only a White Christmas, but a windy and frigid one as well. According to the NWS, “Active weather is expected Friday through the weekend. Widespread cold temperatures and strong winds are expected, with wind chills below zero likely. Accumulating snow is also possible. Stay tuned to the latest forecast as this wintry situation unfolds.”
As we shared last week, having snow on Christmas happens much less than 50% of the time in north central Ohio. This year may well pad that figure a bit.
