In our “Take a Hike” series, we’re featuring a walk or organized hike you can take by yourself, with groups, or with your favorite furry friend. In each case, they are located within Richland County and will be generally accessible to the public, or easily made available.

Do you have a favorite walk you’d like to see us share with our readers? Just send information to us at: [email protected] and we’ll be happy to do just that.

Today we’re looking at the 3.6 mile Stoller Road Trail just north of Clearfork Reservoir. This is an “out and back” trail, so you will end up where you began. It is recommended for all skill levels. There are small rises and short valleys, but no major hills are included in the walk.

The Stoller Road Trail has received several recent reviews on the AllTrails site, which can be accessed here. These should be read before going, as they contain recent comments concerning the terrain and general safety issues.

Obviously, this trail has the benefit of spectacular reservoir views.

Parking is available at the trailhead at 40.7039, -82.60781
