The District 3 Office of the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced that a section of State Route 603 will be closing in August for three consecutive culvert replacement projects.

Closures will begin on Monday, August 2, and will continue in a sequence through August 27.

The individual culverts and projects are as follows:

  • At the State Route 603 and Lucas Perrysville Road intersection, with a two week closure.
  • Between Welty Road and Schrack Road, with a one week closure.
  • Finally, Between Hunter Road and Pleasant Valley Road, with a one week closure.

Cloning times are approximately and can vary due to weather or other conditions.

The detour route for southbound motorists will be State Route 603 to State Route 39, east/southeast on State Route 39 to State Route 95, west on State Route 95 to State Route 603, and reverse for northbound motorists.
