Special to 1812Blockhouse

It is all happening in Downtown Mansfield this Friday, May 7.

From Shop Hop, to Pop Up Shops and Downtown Open House, there is lots to do downtown that evening!  During Shop Hop, stop by great spots like Richland Carrousel Park, Phoenix Brewery, Martinis, and many others and enjoy a great night downtown! Most businesses are open till 8pm or later, so shop, dine, and explore!

The DMI Pop-Up Shop supports both the local entrepreneurial ecosystem as well as to add to the downtown activities.  This Friday from 5-8 during Shop Hop hours stop by 128 North Main Street and meet a new group of budding entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses in Richland County.  For our May First Friday Pop-Up Shop we are excited to bring you Calla Lily Yarn Works, Oh So Delicious!, Motivated Mom LLC, Lola & Lily’s Pastry Shop, Life Is Art, Twisted Fig Tea and Tea Doctors.

Our feature building for our Downtown Open House this month is located at 48 Park Avenue West (pictured).  Stop by and check out this great space available to lease! Whether you are looking for a place for your small business, or you are just curious to see this completed restoration space, stop in and see us. We will have information available to share about the process of leasing the space as well as other spaces currently available downtown. Bring your ideas and questions and let’s talk downtown!  This project is part of DMI’s First Friday Shop Hop and will feature available storefronts each month. Additional information regarding available spaces and funding incentives can be found online at https://www.downtownmansfield.com/opportunities

First Friday events are part of DMI’s ongoing mission to support and grow entrepreneurship in downtown Mansfield. For thirty years, DMI’s mission has been to stimulate economic development, improve the appearance and create a positive image of the downtown as a desirable place to work, live, visit, shop and invest.
