The venerable Ohio Statehouse in Columbus is every Ohioan’s second home.

Since its completion in 1861, it has been the scene for most of the important moments in Ohio political history. President Abraham Lincoln visited the building, and each year 500,000 people do as well.

This year, visits have been limited because of the ongoing pandemic. This means that many Ohioans do not have the opportunity to see the holiday this month.

Never fear! Join the Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center staff on Friday, December 11 at noon for a Facebook Live tour of the building.

Along with Statehouse history, this tour will show off the holiday decorations and will include some stories of holiday celebrations of the past.

It’s easy to join in the fun. The Facebook Event page can be accessed here.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
