Little ghosts and goblins will prowl the first-floor hallway of Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Middle School on Thursday afternoon during the annual Safe Trick or Treat sponsored by OCC Leadership students.

Several clubs, activity groups and sports teams – many in costumes – will hand out candy from decorated tables between 4 and 5:30 p.m.

Parents who bring children to Safe Trick or Treat are asked to bring a canned food item for donation to local food banks or contribute $1 at the door.

“This is a safe environment for the students to trick or treat and the little ones really enjoy it,” said Becky Cashell, OCC Leadership adviser. “This will be the fifth year that I will be doing this with my OCC Leadership students. It has always been a very successful event.”
