The Gorman Nature Center takes to the streets this coming weekend as it presents “Botany in the Big City” in downtown Mansfield.

Did you know that over 100 species of plants call downtown Mansfield home? Many of these species are masters of survival, growing directly out of the concrete and asphalt, with little or no water!

Come take a leisurely walk around town as we discover the biodiversity of downtown Mansfield. Meet at Gorman Nature Center at 10:00 AM. The walk starts at 10:30am on the Mansfield Square. Lunch will follow at a local, downtown restaurant. Call 419-884-3764 for details.

Gorman Nature Center is at 2295 Lexington Avenue.
