Calling all children aged 5-14 – how would you like to spend week getting to know about the world in your own backyard?

The best way is at Critter Camp at Gorman Nature Center, coming from July 29 to August 2. Spend a week studying how organisms interact in Ohio ecosystems.

The Camp involves hands on activities in our wetlands, meadows, and forests including:

  • Fossil hunting
  • Stream surveys
  • Animal studies including reptiles, amphibians, birds, and insects

Critter Camp will take place between 9 AM to 3 PM each day.

Registration is $25 per child, and while registration is now open, spots will go quickly. Reservations are made with full payment at GNC, cash or check only. Come to the nature center to fill out your registration form and pay fee during regular business hours, Tuesday-Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
