In addition to hearing a stark financial forecast (covered by the News Journal ($) and Richland Source), Mansfield City Council passed a handful of matters at its Monday evening meeting.

Those pieces of legislation included:

  • Appointing Pasty Rambo from the 5th Ward as a member of the Police Review and Community-Police Relations Commission.
  • Rezoning a bit over four acres on Ohio 39 from R-3 (Residential) to B-2 (Business)
  • Accepting a donation of $2,000 from the Brian Evans Memorial Fund to be used for Clearkfork Reservoir enhancements
  • Authorizing the purchase of two Rescue Squad vehicles for the Fire Department at a cost not to exceed $332,452.
