The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing to construction of a new ODOT Yard within ODOT right of way with an entrance from Koogle Road.

This will be a 70′ x 130′ fabric covered salt storage building on 12′ high retaining walls with a reinforced concrete slab, and a 20′ x 40′ loader storage building. The project is located within the infield of the southern loop ramp for the US 30/Koogle Road half diamond interchange in Mifflin Township, Richland County.

All work will be limited to the existing right-of-way and no deep excavation is necessary to complete the proposed work.

A minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times during construction at this location. Construction is anticipated to begin in May 2018.

Written comments concerning the proposed project may be mailed to Don Rostofer, ODOT District 3, 906 Clark Avenue, Ashland OH 44805.  You can also contact ODOT by telephone at (800) 276-4188 or by email at [email protected].  Any comments must be received by Thursday, December 13.
