On Monday afternoon, the Mansfield Police Department issued the following call for assistance in finding a robbery suspect:

On Sunday, November 12, 2017, between the hours of 6:00pm and 6:20pm, two businesses in our city were robbed within .6 of a mile of each other. The suspect in both robberies was described as a white male between the ages of 30-50 years old, wearing a red pull over type of jacket with a gray hoodie underneath and blue jeans. Witnesses described the suspect to officers as clean shaven and bald. The two victim businesses are listed below along with a description of the suspect’s vehicle, which he is believed to have fled away in from the scene of the first robbery at 181 Sturges Avenue. The suspect made reference to having a firearm in his possession during one of the robberies, while keeping his hand in his jacket pocket.

Below is a video of the suspect during the robbery at the “Lexington Avenue Drive Thru”. He was last observed running towards the area of Massa Avenue from the Lexington Avenue robbery location. Anyone who can possibly identify this person is asked to call Detective Rich Miller of the Mansfield Division of Police at (419) 755-9758. Robbery #1 Location: “The Recovery Room,” 181 Sturges Avenue

Robbery #2 Location: “Lexington Avenue Drive Thru, ” 261 Lexington Avenue

Suspect Vehicle: The suspect vehicle is believed to be an old decommissioned taxi that once belonged to “CD Taxi”, a local taxi company here in town. It is a dark blue 4 door Chevy Equinox with a possible Ohio Dealer license plate of “004A1SG”. The side of the vehicle may have a faded impression of “CD Taxi #4” on the door(s).
