The Ohio State University Mansfield Theatre Program is bringing lighter fare to the fore later this month, as it presents “Check, Please” Jonathan Rand, and produced in cooperation with Playscripts, Inc..

Have you ever been set up on a blind date?

Two people hope for the best but suffer through the worst as they struggle through blind dates with a kleptomaniac, a pirate, an EXTREME thrill-seeker, a psychic, a mime, and many even more outrageous suitors. Are they doomed to dating nightmares, or can they find true love?

An audience favorite, “Check, Please” was the #1 most produced high school short play for 12 seasons in a row, ending in 2015.

The local cast includes Haley Bedocs, Suzanna Hammond, Georgiana Kay, Aaron McNulty, Dan O’Brien, Lindsey Saltz, and Drew Traxler. Director is Joseph Fahey.

The two performances will take place on Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 at 8:00 PM in Founders Auditorium on the OSUM campus. Tickets are $7 for general admission, and $5 for seniors and students. Call 419-755-4045 for more information.

The onsite box office will open 30 minutes before the show.
