It’s become a favorite among aficionados of local history and interesting architecture.

On Saturday, Downtown Mansfield, Inc. will hold its Secret City Tour. Beginning at 1:00 PM, the event offers a peek into some of Mansfield’s most exquisite historic buildings and architectural gems. This year, the tour is being held in conjunction with RichHistory Weekend and the RichHistory Alliance.

The tour will include the building of Crowe’s Shoes, Tara’s Floral Expressions, Buckeye Bakery, the Eagle’s Building, and DMI’s new location at 128 North Main Street. Additional properties include the house at the corner of Fifth and Walnut, and 46 Park Avenue West.

Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased online or on event day at the DMI HQ at 128 North Main Street. Presale tickets will be 20% off with the coupon code “tinyjanejacobs” and are available until May 5th..

This is a self-guided tour and photography is welcome. Many of the buildings are currently undeveloped, participants should dress accordingly and be prepared to walk. For additional information please call 419-522-0099 or email at [email protected].

Photos below show the buildings which can be visited on Saturday, with the exception of the Eagles Building. Photos of that building, together with a couple of others on a previous edition of the tour, can be seen here, here, and here.
