Looking for exposure for your garage band? How about a bit of cash?

Pleasant Hill Lake Park is seeking high school and college students to perform live on the beach stage at the park, which is located near Perrysville.

To enter, send two demo videos and a set list by April 1. From submissions, three finalists will be chosen and paid $150 to perform on May 27. The overall winner will return for an encore performance on September 2, and win $400.

Bands must have a family friendly, 45 minute set. To enter, send demo videos and set list to: [email protected]. Band members must be aged 25 or younger. Original music is permitted if supported with cover songs, and a sound system will be provided.
