Work is underway in earnest on the new Culver’s restaurant, the latest addition to offerings along Lexington-Springmill. The photo above was taken on Thursday afternoon.

The site, located across from Meijer and immediately to the north of Bell’s, brings to north central Ohio a chain known for its Midwestern roots and delightful menu. The restaurant plans to operate from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. This extended availability is sure to cater to a wide range of dining schedules, from early lunches to late-night cravings.

Culver’s commitment to the community is further evidenced by its plan to employ a total of 60 staff members, with a maximum of 18 employees working at any given time. This significant employment opportunity is a boon for the local job market, offering diverse roles and contributing to the economic vitality of the area.

The new Culver’s outlet also has proposed a substantial parking arrangement, with 68 spaces.

The story of Culver’s began in 1984 when Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig’s parents George and Ruth, opened the first outlet in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Since then, the brand has become synonymous with quality and taste, particularly famous for its ButterBurgers and Frozen Custard.

While Culver’s headquarters is nestled in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, the brand isn’t unfamiliar to the region. The closest Culver’s restaurants to Mansfield are currently located in Medina and Powell.

As of last month, the company has 930 restaurants in 26 states, according to Wikipedia. Culver’s menu comprises butter burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish, salads, french fries, and cheese curds. For dessert, the restaurant offers its frozen custard, served in either a dish, cone, or blended into a concrete mixer or shake.
