One Rock Capital Partners, LLC (“One Rock”) has announced that one of its affiliates has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Therm-O-Disc, a subsidiary of Emerson (NYSE: EMR).
Therm-O-Disc is a leading designer and manufacturer of safety-critical sensors, thermal cutoffs and sealed connecting components primarily used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, appliance, water heater, industrial, aerospace & defense, and transportation applications. Headquartered in Mansfield, Therm-O-Disc has over 4,000 employees globally.

Completion of the transaction, which is expected in the first half of 2022, is subject to applicable regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
According to its website, One Rock has over $5 billion of cumulative capital commitments. Its portfolio is comprised of companies from a spectrum of industries, including chemicals and process industries, specialty manufacturing and healthcare products, and food manufacturing and distribution.
