Shelby drivers are asked to take note of a road project taking place on State Route 61, according to District 3 of the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The route, between Whitney Ave. and Marvin Ave., will close Monday, February 27, for railroad crossing repair.

The detour for northbound motorists is SR 61 to Main St., east on Main St. to Broadway St., north on Broadway St. to E. Smiley, west on E. Smiley to SR 61, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, March 2.
